Might wanna look into the law of diminishing return principle. Happiness has a logarithmic relationship with money, as matter of fact. When it mostly rests on one’s perspective about life stemming from background, education & decision, money (the right amount being subjective tho) can lead to more opportunities to climb up Maslow’s pyramid of needs, hence leading to happiness (?).
