I Am Not Rigid Mom, I Am Disciplined, And Here’s Why

Why that picture? Glad you asked.

Remember 2020? Yeah, let’s not rub salt on the wound.

Well, that time slapped me in the face hard. In a good way, though.

“Time passes fast, and tomorrow I will be 80.”

My actions today will dictate how good I’m going to feel in 50 years.

As I was approaching the end of my 20s back then, something clicked.

In our early 20s, we are not really concerned about our health. For most of us, it’s just about doing whatever we want and keep going at it the next day.

With very few, if any, consequences.

30 hits different though. We no longer only feel the little extra we took the night before, but also the accumulation of our behaviors over the last decade. It just feels different. Not in a good way. At least for me.

So I made health my number one priority. Plain and simple.

I have always been quite extreme, and, this time, instead of trying to swim against the current, which never really worked, I decided to rewire my mind redirecting it to becoming the healthiest person that I can be.
